John is a certified coach credentialed through the International Coaching Federation. He is passionate about challenging others to live the lives they’ve always dreamed of. In addition to coaching, John serves as the ONE Campaign’s Chief Operating Officer. Prior to serving as COO, John was ONE’s Chief of Staff, driving strategic initiatives throughout the organization and serving as the board liaison and the principal advisor to the president and CEO.
John has held numerous roles in the U.S. government, national political campaigns, and international non-governmental organizations. While serving in the Obama administration, he was the senior advisor to the administrator and deputy administrator at the U.S. Agency for International Development, where he advised and led projects related to management, operations, and LGBTI issues for the 10,000+ person agency.
John co-hosts I Could Talk to You All Day, a podcast for executives and emerging leaders. When he’s not COOing or coaching, you can find him skiing (poorly), hiking, practicing yoga, and eating copious amounts of ice cream.
John is based in Chicago and works with clients globally.
