As a coach, Jane maintains that the most important contribution she makes is helping a client define their values, nurture their passions, and leverage their strengths. Jane uses her certifications in the Birkman method and Harrison Assessments to help connect her clients to the best parts of themselves, so they may bring power and purpose to the workplace. A career in higher education, working with business students and the companies that hire them, prepared Jane to fully appreciate the challenges inherent in a global marketplace. Jane understands deeply that people run businesses — and people hire people to run businesses — and healthy, grounded people do everything better. Jane has served as guest speaker and facilitator for numerous associations, colleges, and universities, covering a breadth of career related topics. She has spoken about leveraging strengths and passions, hiring effectively, and building better connections in employer relations. In 2014, she co-authored a book titled Getting the Right Job, A Personal Guide to Developing Your Career, which is currently in its ninth edition.
